The Alsace Wine Route stretches 170 kilometers between Marlenheim and Thann, crossing 119 communes and some of the most beautiful medieval villages in Europe. Elsass VTC accompanies you on this exceptional journey — tastings of Riesling and Gewurztraminer, visits to classified villages and bespoke tours, without the hassle of driving or parking.
The Alsace Wine Route is one of the oldest tourist routes in Europe — inaugurated in 1953, it connects Marlenheim (Bas-Rhin) to Thann (Haut-Rhin) over 170 kilometers, crossing 119 communes and running along the Vosges foothills covered with vineyards. It concentrates 51 of the 53 Alsace Grands Crus and more than 300 wine estates offering tastings and visits.
The route naturally splits into two main zones: the Bas-Rhin part (from Marlenheim to Barr and Sélestat) and the Haut-Rhin part (from Ribeauvillé to Thann via Colmar). Elsass VTC operates across this entire territory — departures from Strasbourg, Colmar, Basel or Alsace airports, with pickup at home or hotel.
Book your private chauffeur from Strasbourg, Colmar, Basel or your Alsace hotel. Unlimited tastings, medieval villages and Grands Crus — your Elsass VTC chauffeur takes care of everything so you fully enjoy the vineyard.
