Barr is home. I live here, I do my shopping here, I see the same faces as you at the market or the bakery. Most of my days are spent on the road, heading to Strasbourg, the airports or the Wine Route.

But between two long drives, I'm sometimes at home. Rather than leaving the car sitting idle, I'd rather lend a hand to the people who live around here: taking you to the doctor, the station, a restaurant or to see a relative, at a price that makes sense for a trip of just a few kilometres.

It's as simple as that: a neighbour dropping you off, with the professionalism of a fully insured and registered private driver.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to book long in advance?

No. A private hire vehicle (VTC) must always be booked before pick-up: write to me on WhatsApp, even for right now. If I am on site and available, I will confirm.

And if you are not available?

I will tell you that it is not possible, straight up. This local rate only applies when I am in Barr or the surrounding area.

Can I hail you in the street?

No. The law forbids a VTC from picking up a customer who hails it in the street: the ride must always be booked in advance, via WhatsApp.

Does the price change depending on the time?

There are two prices per village: one during the day (Monday to Saturday, from 7 am to 7 pm) and one in the evening, at night, on Sundays and public holidays. The price announced is the price you pay.

And for going further, to Strasbourg or the station?

For longer trips (Strasbourg, airport, stations, Colmar…), use the standard online booking: the price there is calculated according to distance.

How are these prices calculated?

Based on the official Bas-Rhin taxi rate for the distance of the trip, with a 10 % discount. For very short trips, the price doesn't go below 12 €. The rate card is the same for everyone.
